Grand View Research reports the Global Dietary Supplements Market Size was worth $140.3 Billion in US dollars in 2020 with an expected 8.6% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the forecast period from 2021-2028.

In the United States, the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) reports the highest supplement use ever recorded among Americans in CRN’s 20+ years of conducting this survey. In October 2021, CRN reported four out of every five Americans use a supplement. 

Referring to supplement use by Americans, Brian Wommack (CRN Senior Vice President of Communications) said, “These products are now mainstream and broadly accepted by the American public. Just as important, 79% of Americans believe the supplement industry is trustworthy, a jump of 5% points from 2020.”
